The mysterious, eerie named Buried Child are completely unknown to us. With a little help from Google we did find out that they recently opened for Crystal Castles in Oakland, which makes lot of sense upon hearing its well-crafted classic 90’s synth-hooks buried deep in radiant light-aired textures. There’s an obvious skill observable in the way Buried Child balance the layers of dark synth pads with light movements of meditative harmony, channeling a subtle allusive ambiance separating “Unmarried mother” from other similar tracks. This is dance music made for the murky after-hour nightclubs, the sort of track that makes you want to stay for one more of those devastating tequila shots.
